Our Beat the Champ tournament created an electric atmosphere at PartyPoker.com on Sunday, June 30! Throughout June, three PartyPoker.com players won Beat the Champ tournaments that qualified them to play Heads-up Limit Hold 'em with poker champ Mike Sexton for the chance to win even more money!
- Opusss vs. Mike Sexton, 3 PM EST: Mike Sexton victorious! Opusss had won the June 9th $1,000 tournament to qualify to play Heads-up with Mike, and still walked away with $100 from the final round!
- WingRider vs. Mike Sexton, 6 PM EST:WingRider victorious! Way to go WingRider! WingRider had won the June 16th $2,000 tournament to qualify to play Heads-up with Mike, and by defeating Mike in this final Beat the Champ round, WingRider won an additional $600!
- Alena vs. Mike Sexton, 9 PM EST: Mike Sexton victorious! Alena had won the June 23rd $3,000 tournament to qualify to play Heads-up with Mike, and although victory wasn't in the cards this time for Alena, the player still received $300 for making it this far!
