Here are some exciting features of the second PartyPoker.com Million:
- Qualifying for the Semi-finals of PPM #2 begins March 23, 2002.
- The estimated total prize pool for PPM #2 = $1,200,000!
- The PPM #2 Finals will be held aboard a Caribbean Cruise March 9-16, 2003. (Card Player Cruises will again host the Finals.) Play will consist of Limit
Hold'em until players are "in the money". Then, No Limit Hold'em will be played exclusively until a
champion is crowned.
- There will be three sets of Semi-finals (four days each) held throughout the year. Those who qualify for the Finals may continue to enter the Semis and may
award, transfer, or sell any additional Semi-finals they may win. The PPM #2 Semis will take place August 1-4, Nov 3-6, and Jan 30-Feb 2, 2003. Each of the Semis will consist of two days of No Limit Hold'em and
two days of Limit Hold'em.
- The buy-in for one-table PPM tournaments will be $25. The PPM tournament winner will advance to the
Semi-final of his/her choice and the second and third
place finishers will win another entry ($25 value
each) into a PPM tournament - $180 will go to the
Semi-finals prize pool and $20 will go to the house
($2 per person).
- PPM winners may collect bonus points for the
Semi-finals by playing "live" games/tournaments on
PartyPoker.
- Semi-final winners will receive a deluxe Card
Player Caribbean Cruise for two (cruise costs approx
$2000) and a $5100 paid entry into the Finals of PPM
ppear at
the website on March 18, 2002.
